Founded in 2022, Clay & Vine Interiors began as a personal passion for home renovation and quickly evolved into a full-service interior design studio. What started with helping friends, family, and neighbors transform their homes has grown into a boutique studio known for warm, refined interiors that balance beauty with function. From one-room refreshes to full-home renovations, Clay & Vine Interiors approaches each project with care, curiosity, and an unwavering attention to detail.
At the heart of the studio is founder and principal designer Jamie Meulmester, whose background uniquely informs its thoughtful, detail-driven approach. With over a decade of experience managing complex projects in the medical device industry as a biomedical engineer, Jamie brings a foundation of problem-solving, precision, and project management—skills that now shape every aspect of her design process and client experience.
Originally from the Midwest, Jamie spent over ten years in California before returning to Minnesota in 2024 with her husband and three children. Outside of design, she enjoys running, traveling, tennis, and a good game of Mahjong—but her greatest joy is time spent with family.
